J.P. Morgan is seeking a talented candidate for the Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB) Chief Data & Analytics Office (CDAO) as an AI Strategy Executive Director. The team engages with the external market, contributes to the strategy for the CIB’s AI&ML initiatives, and partners with key internal teams (Firmwide CDAO) to execute and drive CIB adoption of relevant AI products.

As an AI Strategy Executive Director within Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB) Chief Data & Analytics Office (CDAO), you will be tasked with the development of AI strategy, in particular around Large Language Models (LLMs). Your responsibilities will also include the rollout of AI products across the Corporate Investment Bank. This role provides an excellent opportunity to influence and shape the strategic agenda for AI adoption and spearhead the deployment of JPM's AI products within the Corporate Investment Bank. You will gain highly technical expertise in Data, AI, and Machine Learning, and refine your problem-solving and communication skills. You will also be expected to identify emerging trends before they become widely adopted in the market, and stay updated on competitor strategies and new technologies as the AI landscape continues to evolve.

Job responsibilities 

  • Define and deconstruct complex problems through strategic business deep dives
  • Critically assess AI products and influence the product roadmap
  • Identify key priority CIB use cases for AI adoption
  • Assimilate information and provide synthesized industry analysis for senior management 
  • Drive the development of the AI Strategy & Product Management team in the US by working closely with key stakeholders within the CDAO organization and across the CIB

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • BSc or MSc degree in relevant field (e.g. Data Science, Computer Science)
  • Diverse problem solving experience, such as 8+ years’ work experience with a top management consulting firm, internal strategy, investment banking, private equity, VC or in other generalist problem solving environment within/or related to financial services
  • Prior product management experience 
  • Knowledge and understanding of Data, AI&ML and emerging technologies 
  • An outstanding ability to analyse problems and apply quantitative analytical approaches
  • Easily assimilate new topics/information and synthesize with excellent attention to detail
  • Strong verbal/written skills; ability to communicate effectively with senior management
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint
