What You Will Do:

The Innovation Services team seeks a strategy-oriented AI Business Analyst with a keen interest in leveraging modern AI techniques to tackle diverse and complex challenges - you'll collaborate with a diverse team to identify opportunities for AI in existing workflows and novel task areas enabled by the use of AI. You will work with others to identify, design, develop, and deploy lasting AI and generative AI solutions for a wide range of problem spaces. You will also interact with stakeholders from different roles and domains to understand their needs, explain technical possibilities and limitations, and establish and measure success metrics to ensure the outcomes of solutions. This role requires a solution-oriented mindset - you will often face complex challenges that must be broken down into manageable pieces. This is a growth role, so an ideal candidate would be interested in engaging with and growing both their consultative and technical development skills.

  • Strategic Execution: Collaborate with the wider AI program to understand ICF's vision for AI and aid in creating and implementing solutions that align with those strategies and initiatives.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Work with stakeholders across various roles and domains to understand their business needs, technical feasibility, and operational constraints.

  • AI Workshops: Lead/Co-lead workshop sessions to identify potential opportunities and applications, demonstrating how generative AI can add value.

  • AI Pilots: Assist in steering business case development from concept creation to delivery, transitioning seamlessly into the implementation phase.

  • Clear Communications: Communicate complex technical systems to non-technical staff clearly and concisely.

  • Team Collaboration: Integrate into a cross-functional team (IT, Data Science, client teams, etc.) to explore generative AI tools and services.

  • End-to-End Solutioning: Assist in the design, development, and user testing of AI-driven solutions, ensuring their alignment with client needs and project objectives.

  • Metrics Orientation: Define, measure, and improve success metrics for generative AI solutions using a metrics-oriented, iterative mindset.

  • Hands-on Development: Use languages such as Python or JavaScript to implement generative AI solutions for various use cases.

What You Will Bring With You:

  • 2+ years of professional experience.

  • Experience in an internal or external client facing role, where consultation, analysis, requirements gathering, and effective questioning techniques are key.

  • Experience in technology POC solutioning, conceptualization, and building with a focus on generative AI, building with large language models.

  • Experience using Large Language Models, e.g., Anthropic, Google Gemini.

  • Knowledge of Python and/or JavaScript development.

  • An understanding of the structure, capabilities, and limitations of foundation models, such as GPT4 & Gemini, and their applications to different tasks and domains.

What We’d Like You To Bring With You:

  • Experience facilitating innovation or solutioning sessions to identify AI opportunities, align stakeholders, and drive innovative solutions.

  • Experience promoting change in complex organizational environments.

  • Demonstrated success in innovation strategy, design thinking, and solution design.

  • Self-starter with a proactive approach to identifying new business opportunities.

  • Experience with NLP approaches and large language models to solve diverse and complex problems.

  • Familiarity with vectorization and vector databases.

  • Demonstrated skills, certifications, or experience in AI implementation.

  • Experience working in cloud environments such as Azure and/or AWS.

Professional Skills:

  • Excellent consultative and listening skills with exceptional attention to detail.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
