Responsibilities
Create and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive growth and achieve revenue targets.
Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing sales team, providing coaching, training, and support to maximize potential.
Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline, implementing processes and tools to track and optimize sales performance.
Identify and pursue new market opportunities, maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and customers.
Engage with top-tier clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
Work closely with other executives and departments (e.g., Marketing, Product, Engineering) to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
Monitor sales metrics and KPIs, providing regular reports and insights to the executive team using data-driven approaches for informed decision-making.
Requirements
10+ years of sales experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within an early-stage tech startup, preferably in enterprise hardware/software or SaaS.
Proven record of achieving and exceeding sales targets, with demonstrated success in building and scaling sales teams.
Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team to achieve exceptional results.
Excellent strategic and analytical thinking skills, with the ability to develop and execute sales strategies aligned with business goals.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal teams.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the ability to adapt to changing business needs and priorities.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus.
Ability to think both systematically and adaptively.
