Overview of Role

As the Vice President of Alliances, you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic partnerships and expanding 66degrees' reach within our partner ecosystem. You will forge and cultivate relationships with key Google teams, help establish other strategic partnerships, and help shape our story within each partnership, building a robust network that fuels our growth and success.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive alliance strategy:
    • Sets the overall vision and long-term strategic direction for alliances and partnerships.
    • Identify and prioritize key alliance partners aligned with 66degrees' business objectives.
    • Lead the negotiation and structuring of mutually beneficial strategic partnership agreements.
    • Develop and implement joint go-to-market initiatives with partners, driving pipeline generation and revenue growth.
    • Stay current on Google Cloud partner programs and initiatives, leveraging them to maximize partner benefits and drive mutual success.
  • Build and manage strong relationships:
    • Cultivate deep relationships with Google and other partner executives, partner leadership teams, and industry influencers.
    • Proactively manage partner relationships, including regular communication, collaboration on joint initiatives, and resolving any conflicts that may arise.
    • Act as a trusted advisor to partners, providing strategic guidance and support.
    • Foster a collaborative and mutually beneficial partner ecosystem.
    • Identify and resolve challenges that may impede alliance success by proactively addressing potential issues and finding solutions that benefit both parties.
    • Develop and implement training programs for internal teams to ensure employees understand the value of partnerships and how to effectively collaborate with partners.
  • Drive business growth:
    • Set and achieve ambitious alliance revenue and pipeline targets.
    • Track and measure the performance of partnerships, identifying opportunities for optimization and improvement.
    • Contribute to the development and execution of sales and marketing initiatives that leverage alliances.
    • Stay informed of industry trends and competitor activity, proactively adapting the alliance strategy to maintain a competitive edge.
    • Build and manage a pipeline of potential future partners by proactively identifying and cultivating relationships with companies that could be strategic partners in the future.
  • Leadership and mentorship:
    • Build and lead a high-performing alliance team, providing coaching, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.
    • Foster a culture of collaboration and open communication within the team.
    • Represent 66degrees at industry events and conferences, building brand awareness and thought leadership.
  • Travel averaging one to two days per week is expected in this role. Travel will allow for building deep relationships with channel partners.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in building and managing strategic partnerships within the technology sector.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute long-term strategic plans for alliances and partnerships across multiple partner ecosystems.
  • Proven track record of success in driving revenue growth and pipeline generation through partnerships.
  • Deep understanding of the Google Cloud ecosystem, partner programs, and industry dynamics.
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
