The Opportunity
“Codename: Omnis” is an ambitious entertainment platform that will transform passive content into dynamic, AI-powered experiences. Building on our three-step vision, we aim to create a fully simulated virtual universe and content platform with advanced AI-driven NPCs, representing the next frontier in interactive entertainment and AI research.
Role Overview
As VP of AI Research & Development, you will lead our AI strategy and implementation while working closely with the executive team. You'll be instrumental in building the foundational AI technologies that power our virtual universe and shape the future of interactive entertainment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of advanced machine learning systems for dynamic content creation and agent behavior
- Design and implement AI models that enable truly interactive experiences
- Architect scalable AI infrastructure that can support a complex virtual universe
- Collaborate with product and design teams to integrate AI capabilities seamlessly
- Establish ethical AI frameworks and best practices across the organization
- Represent the company's AI initiatives in partnerships, conferences, and industry events
- Drive innovation in AI applications for entertainment and simulation
Requirements
- Advanced degree in Machine Learning, AI, Computer Science, or related field (PhD preferred but not required)
- Strong foundation in AI research and practical applications
- Understanding of machine learning, MLOps, world development, agentic AI, and generative AI
- Experience with large-scale AI infrastructure and optimization
- Excellent communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Strategic thinking and vision for AI implementation
