We are looking for an experienced Training Specialist to join our growing team! The primary role of the Training Specialist will be to successfully onboard and build rapport with new employees with a focus on the Collections team. This position will also provide remedial coaching, training, and mentorship to tenured team members and will work closely with our Compliance and Operations departments. By actively engaging with employees you will enhance productivity, accelerate skill development, and increase overall performance and retention.

How You’ll Spend Your Time

  • Facilitate new hire onboarding and continuous development training programs for Bounce employees
  • Design training programs that cover essential aspects of debt collection, legal compliance, communication, negotiation, and technology
  • Create training materials including learning modules, interactive presentations and activities/quizzes
  • Ensure all training materials are kept up-to-date with changes on a regular basis
  • Manage annual required trainings and ensure completion by applicable staff members
  • Maintain records in our LMS and document all completed trainings
  • Maintain communication with Collections & Compliance Managers to identify training opportunities
  • Maintain an open and approachable demeanor and provide excellent service to internal clients, employees, stakeholders and external partners

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of work experience in corporate training positions
  • 3+ years of experience delivering employee training and building / writing curriculum
  • Previous experience in the Debt Collections industry is preferred
  • Well versed in debt collection laws and regulations (FDCPA, UDAAP, FCRA)
  • Strong presentation skills, comfortable facilitating training for individuals and groups
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work while managing multiple tasks and projects effectively during change
  • Highly skilled in computer applications, including virtual training delivery platforms, AI enhanced systems and the ability to quickly learn new systems and tools
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, interpersonal skills, self-awareness and emotional intelligence
