The Technical Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the full software development life cycle of our API Security product. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent project management skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.

As a Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading and managing multiple complex projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring they meet scope, budget, and timeline requirements.
  • Collaborating with Product and R&D teams on defining roadmaps, aligning timelines, and overseeing resource allocation.
  • Working closely with Product Management, R&D, Quality Assurance, Customer Success, Pre-Sales etc. to incorporate the right mix of features, improvements, and bug fixes into each sprint.
  • Communicating proactively on project status, schedules, dependencies, issues, and risks to stakeholders
  • Identifing and resolve project conflicts and roadblocks, ensuring timely delivery of project milestones.
  • Developing detailed project plans, including schedules, resource allocation, and risk management.
  • Creating, implementing, and optimizing processes within Product and R&D, for example roadmap and version planning, new product introduction, new feature requests, change management etc. to enhance efficiency, effectiveness and quality.
  • Ensuring all project documentation is up-to-date and accessible to team members and stakeholders.
  • Implementing and managing project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.
  • Monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project success and team performance.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Have 5+ years of experience as a Technical Project Manager in an Agile development environment
  • Have good project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in an exciting environment.
  • Have demonstrated experience in creating, implementing and optimizing processes for Product and R&D teams in a B2B company.
  • Have proven ability to define, implement and measure the effectiveness of process-related improvements.
  • Own excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Be proficient with tools such as Jira and Confluence, project management tools etc
  • Have experience in defining, tracking, and reporting on KPIs to ensure project and team performance aligns with organizational goals.
  • Be meticulous attention to detail.
  • Have analytical and possess strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks and issues.
  • Be able to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences 
  • Have experience with Agile methodologies and tools, including Scrum and Kanban. Ability to adapt Agile methodologies to fit the needs of the organization.
  • Have experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and ability to manage multiple competing priorities and projects.
