Job Description:

As a Technical Developer in the AI Transformation team, you will play a pivotal role in steering early-stage projects from concept to validation. You will engage with a team of technical developers through the initial phases of data exploration, setting the foundation for scalable AI solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and enhance AI products by collaborating with cross-functional teams to create innovative solutions that meet customer needs and business objectives
  • Work closely with stakeholders to translate user requirements into technical specifications and deliver seamless user experiences
  • Engage in the exploration and evaluation of early-stage data, ensuring the integrity and applicability for model development.
  • Crowe Technical Developers are project team members responsible for executing tasks as part of the AI Transformation team that is embedded with business experts in Crowe’s AI team
  • Document findings and provide strategic recommendations to business stakeholders, outlining potential paths forward, technological capabilities, and relevant limitations.
  • You demonstrate the viability of potential solutions and seek to disprove assumptions through data exploration, experimentation, and lightweight Proof of Concept buildout.
  • Actively engage in professional learning within the constantly evolving AI landscape, with an emphasis on the Microsoft ecosystem
  • Engage with your team to derive realistic effort estimates, embracing the iterative nature of early-stage AI development.
  • Participate in ethical, risk, and security discussions to ensure all solutions meet Crowe’s high standards.
  • Facilitate meetings with business stakeholders to refine project objectives and demonstrate preliminary results.
  • Actively contribute to the professional growth and development of your team members via code review and coaching.
  • You support your team members' growth through pair programming, code review, and/or knowledge sharing.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in software development, with a focus on Microsoft technologies and AI solutions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate
  • You are comfortable executing assigned tasks when provided guidance by your Technical Lead and/or team members; you proactively request help when needed and collaborate effectively.
  • Knowledge of AI/ML frameworks and tools
  • You can communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical or unfamiliar audiences, both written and verbal; you support the creation of client-facing deliverables and documentation.
  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure they meet the required performance and quality standards.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for developed solutions, including user guides, technical specifications, and process documentation.

    Preferred Skills

    • Experience with Azure services, particularly Azure AI, Machine Learning, and Cognitive Services.
    • Certifications in Microsoft technologies (e.g., Azure AI Engineer Associate, Power Platform Solution Architect).
    • Hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 and its integration with Power Platform.
    • Expertise in prompt engineering and familiarity with tools like Enterprise ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, and Azure AI Studio
    • Experience with DevOps practices and tools within the Microsoft environment.
    • Previous experience in a professional services environment.
    • You want to stay fresh in AI. You aren't afraid to take a stab at Large Language Model papers before they become blog posts (even if you don't have experience in it quite yet) or try out the latest tools. You’re probably subscribed to several newsletters or podcasts about AI topics.
    • Background in business analysis, with a knack for translating business needs into technical requirements.
    • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools.
    • You’re familiar with the software development lifecycle and AI Ops best practices
    • You enjoy sharing what you learn, whether by offering cross-training opportunities, giving internal team “lightning talks,” or by writing detailed comments on tickets when you close them.
