Job advertisement for specializations such as: Computer science, communication sciences, software design, software engineering, technical computer science, technology management, medical informatics, medical technology or similar Recognizing strokes is a challenge even for experienced medical staff, especially in primary care. With around 270,000 cases in Germany, “time is brain”: the faster the stroke is recognized and acted upon, the better the chances of recovery. However, recognizing a stroke is complex, as the symptoms can present themselves very differently.
In this thesis, suitable AR glasses and sensor technology that enable the detection of strokes using a local AI model will be discussed and implemented. The challenges and limitations of its use as an aid for primary care should be considered in the selection and implementation.
