About the RoleWe are looking for a talented Staff Machine Learning Platform Engineer who is passionate about solving complex problems and advancing AI/ML platforms. You'll collaborate with motivated colleagues on challenging, enterprise-scale projects, ensuring high-quality and reliable solutions. You will be responsible for defining and developing our ML platform, frameworks for generative AI-powered applications, and ML data pipelines. These systems will drive key capabilities, including metric forecasting, insights from conversational intelligence leveraging LLMs, and ML tools that enhance sales workflows. You’ll engage in the entire lifecycle—from ideation and experimentation to productization—while monitoring model performance across hundreds of customers. The products you build will be used by many of the world’s most renowned companies. This is a hybrid position, which will require the ability to be onsite in our Kraków, Poland office as needed. Candidates must be based in Poland.
Responsibilities
Design and build ML architecture components to support large-scale data science projects
Manage and enhance Clari’s ML platform for training and deploying AI models
Develop next-generation data pipelines to power Clari’s AI models
Contribute to all aspects of the AI/ML platform
Become an industry expert in MLOps and data pipelines
Maintain post-production ownership of ML modules incorporated into the product
Serve as a senior technical advisor to management on machine learning and statistical methods
Lead or participate in the evaluation of machine learning models to determine their suitability for specific analytics problems
Provide feedback on best practices and recommend necessary investments to increase the efficiency of the Data Science team
Qualifications
8+ years of server-side development experience
4+ years of experience designing, building, and supporting machine learning platforms, services, and frameworks
Deep knowledge of machine learning (e.g., deep learning, ensemble methods, regression methods, time series analysis) and experience leading ML engineering projects with large-scale data
Proficiency in Python and standard ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, SageMaker, MLFlow, and Ray
Strong understanding of software engineering principles, including data structures and algorithms
Experience with LLMs and related frameworks, such as LangChain
Understanding of ML system architecture considerations, including performance, parallelization, robustness, and fault mitigation
Experience with cloud infrastructure and Terraform
Self-directed, self-motivated, and detail-oriented, with the ability to design proposals and analyze production issues thoroughly
Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases; familiarity with Java and Scala is a plus
Experience with streaming frameworks such as Kafka is a plus
Familiarity with LLM evaluation tools like LangSmith is preferred
Knowledge of DataLake architectures is preferred
Experience with service-oriented architecture and APIs is preferred
