Job Description: Staff AI Scientist (product R&D) 

Position Overview 

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Staff AI Scientist to join our product-focused AI R&D team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for developing proof of concepts (PoCs) of new products and features powered by AI. By leveraging cutting-edge AI/ML techniques, you will contribute to the creation of transformative solutions that enhance our product offerings. Key Responsibilities 

• Develop and implement PoCs of AI-driven features and applications, translating ideas into tangible prototypes. 

• Lead the AI workstreams of projects you work on. 

• Collaborate closely within cross-disciplinary teams, including technical and non-technical stakeholders, to align AI initiatives with business objectives. 

• Stay up-to-date with advancements in AI/ML and proactively recommend innovative approaches to product R&D challenges. 

• Mentor more junior colleagues. 

Qualifications and Skills 

• Strong knowledge of diverse AI/ML areas, tools, and frameworks. 

• Proficiency in public cloud platforms, such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, with hands-on experience in deploying AI solutions. 

• Demonstrated ability to rapidly create prototypes using code generation tools and other modern development practices. 

• Effective team player with experience working in cross-disciplinary teams, fostering collaboration between technical and non-technical members. 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with a creative approach to innovation. 

• Proficiency in both English and Polish languages. 

Compensation and Employment Type 

This position offers a competitive salary range of 22,000 - 27,000 PLN gross per month, with employment under a contract of employment. 

Location 

This position is based in Poland, with a preference for candidates located in Poznań. While Poznań is not a mandatory location, proximity and ease of travel to the Poznań office  will be considered a strong advantage.
