As part of the SiMa product management team, you will be responsible for the strategy, definition and delivery of next-generation software and machine learning (ML) platforms focused on AIML, GenAI, and multi-modal workloads at the edge. You will work closely with our customers to develop positive relationships, learn their system and software requirements, and work with the architecture, engineering, and business development teams that will enable customers to scale their EdgeAI from single ML model applications to GenAI and multi-modal applications on one platform. Software Product ManagementA successful candidate will be self-driven and passionate about bringing innovative solutions to the market. The candidate will have strong experience with the AI software ecosystem and the capabilities required to maximize the value proposition of the SiMa ONE Platform tech stack and partner ecosystem. This person has successfully developed customer-centric requirements with clear acceptance criteria and has led cross-functional teams to execute and deliver the roadmap to customers and partners. This includes business to business customers and use cases in industrial, retail, smart city, drones, robotics, and AI cameras. Your ability to work in a highly dynamic, ambiguous, and startup environment is essential. Key Responsibilities:
Deliver detailed roadmaps, milestones, plans, and PRDs, leveraging an understanding of industry use cases, developer journey, competition, emerging user and technical trends, and user requirements for products and features in areas with many unsolved and open-ended questions.
Develop, review and communicate GTM plans
Work closely with internal architecture, engineering software, and business teams to enable the requirements that will deliver the best experience on SiMa ONE Platform, Palette Software, Palette Edgematic.
Translate application requirements into developer-centric software features, including models, APIs, and tools for rapid deployment.
Author crisp and compelling product value proposition and positioning.
Create collateral and proof points to support positioning and narrative including blogs, videos, webinars, product briefs, etc.
Use your expertise with the product and the machine learning developer journey to align the product and platform capabilities with what matters to our customers (the value proposition) and develop powerful, differentiated positioning, collateral, and proof points to support the product narrative.
Perform competitive analysis and positioning for all aspects of the product
Global customer, partners, and sales training and in addition to tradeshows
Experience (must-have):
Deep understanding of AI/ML technologies, machine learning frameworks, and both cloud and edge architectures.
Experience in software development or deployment of AI applications minimum of 5 years
Candidate should also be able to demonstrate product management skills in defining a product, developing and launching products.
Candidate should be able to demonstrate strong understanding / experience ML development flows, ML frameworks, ML hardware and software ecosystem, and edge development tools, processes and software stacks.
Knowledge of the AI hardware and software ecosystem, with a successful history of developing or managing technical products from inception to market.
Bachelor’s Degree and at least 5 years of experience in software development and/or product management, prioritizing developer-focused solutions.
Ideally, you would have:
Technical degree (preferably MS) in computer science, engineering, or related field with an MBA
10+ years of experience in building products that run at the edge at the software with system and/or silicon level experience
Experience operating in a fast-paced environment with ambiguity at a start-up
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Industry experience in Industrial, Robotics/Drones, Smart Retail Analytics (Personalization), Aerospace, and Logistics in a business and customer facing role.
The annual salary for this position ranges from $192,500 to $259,000. The actual annual salary paid for this position will be based on several factors, including but not limited to, skills, prior experiences, qualifications, expertise, work location, total target compensation, training, company needs, and current market demands. The annual salary range for this position is subject to change and may be adjusted in the future.
