The Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML) Products & Platforms team is creating the next generation of scalable and responsible AI, ML, and Data Innovations and products to solve client and consumer problems. This is a cross-functional team of AI & data scientists, AI/ML engineers, data engineers, product managers, and program managers focused on generating value for the payment’s ecosystem.
Visa’s AI/ML models and products are an essential part of the world’s economy, as they play a key role in preventing fraud across the payment’s ecosystem, and generate high value to clients and consumers, all within milliseconds. Our AI/ML solutions generate hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue for Visa and protect billions of dollars of payments transactions.
You will build and enhance the AI/ML platform's core capabilities with focus on accelerating these capabilities for model training and inference, development of Visa's strategic flagship AI models for new revenue and ecosystem protection.
This role will play a key part in collaborating with the Data scientists and product and technology partners, shaping the future capabilities of our AI/ML platform, driving innovation and excellence in our technology.
Essential Functions
Drive product requirement, roadmap planning, execution for new capabilities for the AIML Platform. Drive the model products onboarding and launched on the platform for fraud and enumeration attack risk solutions.
Partner with technology closely to execute on AI/ML capabilities and technologies that drive product delivery of high-profile Visa AI products that form the strategic pillars of Visa.
Partner with clients and internal stakeholders throughout the payment ecosystem to develop product strategy and co-create solutions.
Ensure product requirements are designed with scalability and long-term vision in mind.
Conceptualize, develop and launch new products & experiences at the intersection of payments and technology in the AI space.
Brainstorm with internal and external teams to develop ideas and potential solutions for co-creation.
Work closely with internal and external product and partner teams to ensure alignment on goals/scope, plan critical path and operational risks, and ensure transparent communication.
Synthesize requirements into a common set of platforms and services capabilities, writing very clear, thorough and detailed user stories for complex features and products.
Liaise with other data science, product leaders, engineering and other applicable groups to ensure flawless execution. Provide status, action plans and recommendations to senior leadership on an ongoing basis.
Advanced proficiency in the use of tools for product roadmap, execution, and JIRA align strongly preferred.
Primary Responsibilities
Requirements Gathering: Work closely with data scientists, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into product requirements.
Product Requirements: Develop product requirements for a models to be deployed on the AI platform. This includes working closely with the engineering team to ensure the product is built to specification and meets the needs of our users.
Foster a culture of innovation, excellence, and accountability.
Stakeholder Communication: Regularly communicate with stakeholders across the organization, including senior leadership, to keep them informed of the product's progress and gather their input.
User Advocacy: Advocate for the needs of our users (data scientists) throughout the product development process. Ensure the final product meets their needs and enhances their ability to build, test, and deploy AI models.
Market Analysis: Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in AI/ML and feature engineering. Use this knowledge to keep our product competitive and innovative.
Product execution and operations: Execute on the product roadmaps for platform development and launch of the key models on the platform aligning with the company's overall AI/ML strategy.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 143,200 to 207,800 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
