About the role

The Core Engagement team is responsible for Character’s core product experience on both the web and mobile. Our team charter spans the chat experience from Character Calls, the home page, search & recommendations, and other features used by millions of users everyday.

Responsibilities:  

• Building innovative consumer-oriented AI experiences that engage and immerse users even deeper into their character experiences

• Ideate and build emerging “Big Bet” experiences

Job Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a full-stack software engineer building consumer-facing products with a strong focus on building scalable backend services

• Experience with Python, Golang, Typescript, and React all nice to haves
