What we’re looking for

A core strategy for SurveyMonkey is to provide thoughtful value to our customers through tight integrations with the enterprise ecosystem for relevant use cases across our product offerings.

The Partners, Integrations and Enablement Team builds foundational RESTful API infrastructure and provides a unified approach to integrations and developer enablement across our market.

We are looking for a talented QA Automation Engineer to test APIs and integrations with a passion for solving challenging problems. Iterating quickly, we work closely with our product owners, designers and customers to ensure we provide the best solution for our users.

What you’ll be working on

  • Writing new automation tests for our APIs and integrations
  • Working through and executing manual and automated test runs, according to the test plan, prior to each release 
  • Working with other engineers to investigate production issues and performing root cause analysis
  • Documenting, investigating, and re-testing bugs and failures
  • Defining and implementing metrics to communicate the quality of the products you are responsible for
  • Supporting other types of quality targets, such as performance, load and stress testing
  • Fostering the spirit of continuous improvement and learning amongst fellow engineers

We’d love to hear from people with

  • 3+ years of professional software automation testing experience
  • 5+ years of experience in testing highly scalable web applications and services
  • Experience with JavaScript-based Web automation tool (such as WebdriverIO)
  • Understanding of Web, HTTP and API design, and have solid experience testing web applications
  • Experience with Git or another VCS
  • Solid understanding of how to apply QA methodologies and processes
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with both co-located and remote engineers as well as cross-functional partners

This opportunity is hybrid and requires you to work from the SurveyMonkey office in Bengaluru 3 days per week.
