The ReachRx platform leverages LLMs to provide an intuitive search interface for physicians to stay current on the latest treatments, make more informed clinical decisions, and ensure patients get on therapy as quickly and cheaply as possible. We are revolutionizing the $60 billion dollar, primarily analog pharmaceutical sales model by digitizing the relationship between doctors and drug manufacturers. By simplifying access to crucial pharmaceutical information, we are not only supporting physicians but improving the lives of patients. As a founding engineer, you will play a key role in developing our large-scale search and retrieval systems and have the opportunity to work on a product that directly impacts the lives of millions of patients.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and scale novel product features for our clinical search application
Develop infrastructure for low-latency search and retrieval systems
Create, index, and maintain large public and private datasets comprising of millions of complex documents
Research and develop novel search and retrieval techniques that combine traditional search, embeddings, and LLMs
Play a key role in shaping our engineering organization and company culture
Qualifications
Demonstrated ability building world-class software products
3+ years of industry experience
Strong programming skills with the ability to work across the full stack.
Proficiency in Python, NextJS, Typescript, AWS, and PostgreSQL
Proven track record of building scalable services that process complex data
A passion for working with AI and LLMs
Experience building user-facing APIs, ETL, data orchestration and data processing
Bonus: Early engineer at a hyper-growth startup
