About the Role:We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our growing team. You will play a critical role in working with our world-class cross-functional team to help develop and build the world’s most advanced robotic systems for the world’s biggest robotics opportunity! Responsibilities:- Write and test code for our simulation and data infrastructure systems.- Participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies. - Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).- Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates and user feedback. - Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.- Be a mentor for junior engineers. Qualifications:- Bachelors, Masters, or PhD in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience- 3+ years of industry experience- Experience with relevant programming languages such as Rust, Golang, Python or C++ etc.- Experience simulating Autonomous systems, Robotics, or other highly complex systems- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP or Azure- Experience with containerization technologies like Kubernetes and Docker- Good understanding of database systems such as Postgres, Scylladb.- Good understanding of writing unit and integration tests- Good understanding with lower-level Operating Systems (Linux)- Knowledge of Computer Networking Nice to have: - Experience with Rust programming language- Experience with data engineering technologies such as Apache Kafka, Spark, Flink, Airflow, Parquet, Arrow or similar.
