The Campaign Management Team at Cognitiv is a highly visible team at the center of our products. We are looking for a Campaign Analyst with experience in AdTech who can work cross functionally across Science and Client Success to drive campaign performance. You will do by performing analysis to understand bidding behavior and campaign context and translating that into campaign decisions that will improve our overall approach to campaigns. Your day-to-day responsibilities include the application of in-depth analysis, performed by you, to campaigns as well as enhancing the team’s operational monitoring capabilities. You should be comfortable analyzing, interpreting, and communicating results to upper management. As a key member of a visible team, you must be a strong communicator and an advocate for the insights you discover. These insights will have a broad impact across our business. Campaign Analysts use SQL and similar languages to query data sets with billions and sometimes trillions of rows. A strong understanding of SQL and familiarity with query efficiency is essential for this role. Python use in a professional context is important to this role. Previous experience with big data is a plus. You should be comfortable with visualization tools like Tableau, creating derived tables, and setting up automated data pipelines. We value in-person collaboration with team members and have a hybrid work schedule. This position will be located in our Bellevue, WA office with 3 days in office (Mon/Tue/Wed) and 2 days remote (Thursday/Friday).
Responsibilities
Analyze large data sets to find patterns and actionable insights to help address performance issues and identify drivers of performance for campaigns. Deliver presentations of findings to technical and business stakeholders
Help architect, plan, and implement how our team should approach analyzing marketing performance for new and existing products
Collaborate with cross-functional partners to understand business needs and prioritize tasks accordingly
Monitor campaigns, models and internal systems to understand bidding behavior and optimize campaign performance
Set up models, bid algo, strategy and campaigns
Enhance our team’s monitoring capabilities through scheduled pipelines, notebooks and dashboards
Set up and evaluate user-based and geographic experiments
Requirements
5+ years of experience using analytics to drive significant business impact
Advanced proficiency with SQL query optimization including outer joins
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated ability to communicate results of analyses to technical and business audiences
Working knowledge of statistical tests and methods
Data visualization experience
Preferred Qualifications
Superior communication and collaboration skills
Proficiency working with Python
Solid understanding of experimentation, predictive analytics, and machine learning
Tableau or similar business intelligence software experience
Understanding of distributed SQL technologies
Big data experience with log files and large data sets

Salary
$130,000-$170,000 Base Salary + Equity
