C3 AI is seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Accounting to join our team at our Redwood City, CA office. This is a full-time, onsite role.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee operational accounting processes, including cost allocations, fixed assets, investments, cash management, prepaid expenses, and other assets and liabilities. Tasks include reviewing journal entries, account reconciliations, preparing disclosure schedules for financial filings, and conducting fluctuation analysis.
• Manage daily accounting activities to ensure compliance with US GAAP, internal policies, and external audits.
• Lead the monthly and quarterly close processes, ensuring strict adherence to deadlines.
• Oversee the international entity accounting close process, including reviewing local management accounts and recording foreign entity transactions.
• Manage international statutory audits and financial statements, coordinating directly with international auditors to ensure timely compliance with local regulations.
• Collaborate with leadership on special projects and initiatives.
• Work closely with Finance and cross-functional teams on monthly close matters and other projects.
• Drive process optimization and automation efforts to improve efficiency and effectiveness, leveraging technology solutions.
• Ensure all key internal controls over operations and financial reporting comply with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements.
• Participate in additional assignments and ad hoc projects as needed.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in accounting and/or auditing.
• Preferably, experience with a Big 4 audit firm.
• CPA (or equivalent) is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience in high-growth companies, ideally within the Software SaaS/PaaS industry.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
• Experience with NetSuite ERP is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
