The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience with C#, 5+ years of experience with React using TypeScript, and an interest in Python for rapid prototyping and AI. Experience in a regulated industry is a significant plus.As TaxPay is still in its early stages, we’re looking for someone with high standards and strong opinions who can help set the foundation for success as we enter our next phase of growth.Responsibilities:Own the end-to-end development of resilient, stable, and secure features and functionality based on requirements developed by the product managerCollaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure seamless integration between back-end services and user interfaces.Architect endpoints using OpenAPI.Integrate with Accounting Software and Banking-as-a-Service vendors.Diagnose and resolve complex back-end issues, including security vulnerabilities and stability concerns.Contribute to architectural decisions and ensure that the back-end infrastructure supports long-term business goals and security requirements.Leverage ML techniques (e.g., document extraction, LLM) to extract and interpret information from documents.Requirements:Proven track record with 7+ years in software development using C#, focusing on back-end services and API development, ideally in FinTech projects.Demonstrated commitment to unit testing.5+ years of experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and other web services.Working knowledge and appreciation of Python.High standards for architecture.Strong understanding of database management systems and Object-Relational Mapping tools, including SQL Server and Entity Framework, with experience in optimizing queries and data storage.Proficiency in handling security, authentication, and authorization in a back-end environment.Experience with cloud services, such as Azure or AWS, and an understanding of scalable infrastructure design.Familiarity with front-end technologies, particularly React, to support seamless integration between back-end services and user interfaces.Proficiency in code versioning tools, such as Git.This role offers the chance to be part of an innovative team dedicated to delivering solutions that have a tangible impact on the fintech sector.
