Top Technical Requirements:

  • Design and develop cutting-edge visual object tracking and image processing algorithms to enable precise and robust object tracking for unmanned systems over embedded hardware.
  • Implement and optimize tracking techniques such as correlation filters, deep learning-based trackers, and feature-based methods.
  • Integrate visual tracking algorithms into real-time systems for unmanned platforms, ensuring low-latency and high-performance tracking capabilities.
  • Collaborate with hardware and software teams to optimize the integration of tracking solutions with onboard processing units.
  • Develop and implement sensor fusion strategies to combine data from various sensors (e.g., cameras, lidar) for improved tracking accuracy and reliability.
  • Enhance visual trackers to adapt to dynamic and challenging environmental conditions, such as changes in lighting, weather, and terrain.
  • Implement machine learning and deep learning techniques to enable trackers to learn and adapt to new scenarios over time.
  • Conduct thorough benchmarking of visual tracking algorithms, comparing performance metrics and assessing their suitability for specific unmanned applications.
  • Optimize tracking algorithms for resource-constrained environments, ensuring efficient utilization of computational resources on unmanned platforms.
  • Engage in continuous research to explore and apply state-of-the-art tracking methodologies to unmanned systems.
  • Document tracking algorithms, methodologies, and integration processes comprehensively.
  • Design and execute extensive testing protocols to validate the reliability and accuracy of visual tracking algorithms in real-world scenarios.
  • Contribute to the creation of technical reports and project documentation
  • Code writing discipline such as commenting and bug tracking
  • Mentorship and training of junior technical personnel.
     

Knowledge/Qualification & Experience

  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in computer vision and image processing
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields
  • C/C++ and Python coding
  • Machine learning and tracking algorithms
  • Proficient with CUDA programming
  • Familiar with NVIDIA platforms
  • Version control and code maintenance
  • Knowledge of ML applications
  • Aware of recent updates in the research field
  • Analytical approach for problem solving
