Responsibilities:
Comprehend the complete suite of AWS services employed in our infrastructure.
Establish AWS servers to ensure scalability and reliability in day-to-day operations.
Hands-on experience in Kubernetes is an advantage
Good knowledge on Terraform and Docker images is expected
Working knowledge of Lambda functions will be an advantage
Manage multiple subnets for server clusters, optimizing network architecture.
Administer VPC Security Groups to enhance network security and compliance.
Utilize CloudWatch, CloudFront, and Cloudflare configurations for seamless operations.
Employ continuous measures to optimize AWS billing through vigilant traffic monitoring.
Develop and manage pipelines for diverse deployment scenarios.
Strategize and execute backup plans for AWS servers to ensure data integrity.
Monitor server capacity, storage planning, and database performance on AWS.
Provide insightful suggestions and improvements to our existing deployment model.
Plan and implement robust processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover, leveraging comprehensive AWS knowledge.
Spearhead the planning and execution of new IT infrastructure upgrades.
Qualifications - Are You a Match?
Hold a Bachelors or Master’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field, or possess equivalent experience.
Accumulate 6+ years of experience in AWS and related system administration activities.
Demonstrate proficiency in Linux/Unix administration with a solid background.
Have prior exposure to the design of large-scale systems.
Showcase the ability to troubleshoot complex distributed systems.
Possess hands-on experience with virtualization technologies.
Hold certifications in System Administration and IT, such as Linux or Microsoft (additional advantage).
Exhibit a strong understanding of systems, networking software, hardware, and protocols.
Have practical experience with scripting and automation tools in a professional setting.
