What you`ll do 

Summary:
We are looking for a top-notch experienced Senior Data Scientist to support our agile AI development team in exploring the data and developing AI/ML models for SAP’s internal business organizations.

The Role:

• Work with a global, agile team of data scientists, AI/ML engineers and software engineers on AI/ML modeling and deployment pipelines
• Lead the development process of cutting edge data science and AI solutions across business domains
• Communicate with global stakeholders to understand various business processes and model input data together with the AI PO
• Execute MLOps: continuous integration, continuous delivery, and continuous training for your ML models
• Keep up-to-date with state-of-the-art algorithms and technologies in AI and data science and act as a thought leader in the Data Science and AI space

What you bring

We are looking for a driven and motivated team player with at least a Master’s Degree in Data Science or related fields. You should have multiple years of experience in Python programming and in distributed computing frameworks, e.g. Apache Spark. In addition strong experience with a wide range of ML/AI algorithms, statistical models and ML architectures is required. In more detail candidates should have exceptional skills in:

• ML development (e.g. scikit-learn, MLLib, Keras, Pytorch, TensorFlow, etc.)
• Big Data and analytics (e.g. Apache Hadoop, Apache Spark, etc.)
• Hyperscaler platforms (e.g. AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Regular usage of software version control and testing (e.g., GitHub, Git, Jenkins, etc.)
• Broad knowledge of MLOps best practices

As we are a diverse multi-cultural team, strong oral and written communication skills in English are a must. In addition basic German language skills are desirable.

The Infused Intelligence team belongs to the Corporate Processes & Information Technology (CPIT) organization. We are responsible for delivering innovative and user-centric solutions through different Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence technologies to internal stakeholders across a wide range of SAP’s own business processes. Our data comes from multiple internal and external data sources, containing structured and unstructured data. Our models are built on state-of-the-art AI development platforms while adhering to our AI model lifecycle management. 
The team is responsible end-to-end for internal custom-tailored and innovative Business AI solutions.
