Education and Certification
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Engineering, or a related field;
Master's degree preferred.
Experience and Skills
Proven experience working as a Data Scientist or in a similar role, within the healthcare industry.
Proficiency in data manipulation, cleaning, and preprocessing techniques using Tableau, Power BI, SQL, Python, R and similar programming languages.
Strong understanding of statistical analysis, machine learning, and data modeling techniques, with hands-on experience implementing algorithms and building predictive models.
Experience and understanding of statistical techniques such as GLMs, probability distributions, hypothesis testing and statistical correlations.
Familiarity with healthcare data standards and regulations, preferred.
Experience working with healthcare-related datasets, such as electronic health records (EHR), claims data, and medical imaging data, is a plus.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders and present complex findings in a clear manner.
Minimum of 10 years of experience as a data scientist or a similar role
Healthcare experience in UAE will be advantageous.
