Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Data Science Consultant
In this role, you will:
Lead or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables by utilizing data-driven, advanced analytical, statistical techniques, algorithms, or models to make actionable insights, trends, recommendations, or contribute to large-scale planning that has a broader impact
Review and analyze moderately complex, large structured and unstructured data sets from various sources, requiring an in-depth hypothesis generation and advanced analysis of variable factors to convert data into meaningful insights and recommendations
Independently analyze and resolve moderately complex issues and lead team to meet deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of analytic capabilities
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to drive recommendations and strategies based on data-driven analytical insights, trends, and patterns that will resolve issues and achieve goals; may lead projects, teams, or serve as a mentor for lower-level staff
Execute analytical experiments and create innovative statistical models to discover solutions for abstract business problems across various domains
Interpret and analyze data, using advanced analytics modeling methods and programming, to recommend ways to solve problems and influence business decisions and strategies
Communicate actionable insights and recommendations using data in a digestible format to a non-technical audience of varying levels
Required Qualifications:
4+ years of data science experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Master's degree or higher in a quantitative discipline such as mathematics, statistics, engineering, physics, economics, or computer science
Desired Qualifications:
This is a Senior Data Scientist role within the CIB Data organization, to build an Advanced Analytics capability. This will be a small, niche team of Data Scientists.
We are looking for an experienced senior data scientist for this expansion of capabilities, The ideal candidate will be one who brings in comprehensive knowledge of AI/ML skills along with a good understanding of CIB business and products.
Assist the leads in defining data science roadmap for the advanced analytics “capability”, working closely with colleagues and business stakeholders to ensure successful execution for our I&P operations.
Conceptualize, test and develop descriptive and predictive models using statistics / AI ML & NLP technologies.
Create and perform end-to-end analysis, including designing research methods, data extraction, processing, analysis, visualization, presentation of results to stakeholders.
Design and implement robust, production-level microservices & APIs to expose algorithms and models.
Innovate and design automation tools to drive internal processes and improve data quality.
4+ years of experience in the implementation of analytics solutions
4+ years of experience in design, development, deployment and management of Machine Learning and NLP models for various use cases
Data Analytics expertise in:
Building data pipelines to collect, store and process the structured and unstructured data for advanced analytics solutions
Data preparation (complex datasets), exploratory data analysis to assess the fitment of the data for the appropriate machine learning models
Leveraging statistical modeling for the betterment of analytical solutions
Building explainable AI ML & NLP models using supervised, unsupervised, and deep learning algorithms
Advanced python libraries, SAS, SQL, and big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Hive or AWS services
Tools such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, NumPy/SciPy, Pandas.
Knowledge of visualization frameworks using Power BI and Tableau.
