Statsig is looking for a Data Scientist with a strong statistical foundation, solid coding skills, and 0-2 years of industry experience. This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of data science, software engineering, and experimentation while collaborating directly with customers. You’ll contribute to building Statsig’s Data Platform and Experimentation Tools, drive adoption through best practices, and develop innovative features that empower product teams worldwide.
Design and implement advanced experimentation methods, leveraging industry best practices.
Validate methodologies and develop pragmatic, scalable solutions for customers.
Build software systems and data pipelines across Statsig’s internal compute platform and customers’ data environments, optimizing for performance and scalability.
Shape the future of Statsig’s data capabilities by integrating data science into our products.
Apply a data engineering perspective to enhance Statsig’s experimentation tools.
Gather customer feedback, understand their pain points deeply, and contribute to product improvements.
Partner with customers to solve unique data challenges and optimize their experimentation workflows.
Provide guidance on best practices to prospective and existing customers, driving adoption and successful implementation of Statsig’s platform.
0-2 years of experience in Data Science, Applied Statistics, or a related field.
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a closely related field (or foreign equivalent).
Strong coding proficiency, particularly in Python, with familiarity with software engineering best practices.
Exceptional SQL skills and experience with large-scale data transformation.
Ability to work on-site 5 days a week from our Bellevue, WA office.
