The Senior CPQ/Pricing Data Scientist will define and implement advanced pricing strategies, optimize Configure-Price-Quote (CPQ) processes, and leverage data to drive business decisions. This expert role will support the International commercial teams and focus on pricing.

What will you be doing?

  • Design, implement, and refine complex pricing models to improve profitability and market competitiveness.

  • Apply statistical analysis and machine learning techniques to forecast pricing trends and customer behavior.

  • Coordinate the configuration, integration, and enhancement of CPQ systems to streamline quoting processes.

  • Lead business planning process around system capabilities and enhancement.

  • Create and maintain detailed reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate insights and recommendations to collaborators.

  • Define & measure pricing important metrics to measure them based on the CPQ data, and conduct thorough data analysis to identify pricing opportunities and challenges.

  • Monitor market trends, competitor pricing strategies, and customer preferences to advise pricing decisions with continuous development of strategies to respond to market changes and maintain a competitive edge.

  • Work closely with strategic pricing, commercial, marketing, finance, and product development teams to align pricing strategies with business objectives.

  • Leverage advanced analytics to support strategic initiatives and drive data-driven decision-making while implementing and optimizing predictive models to forecast demand and price elasticity.

What will you need to be successful?

  • 5+ years of experience in data science, pricing strategy, and CPQ systems.

  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful pricing models and strategies.

  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, and the ability to convey technical information to non-technical business partners.

  • Knowledge of CPQ systems (e.g., Salesforce CPQ, Oracle CPQ) and CRM software.

  • Proficiency in statistical analysis, machine learning, and predictive modeling.

  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
