About The Customer: They are a leading retail technology innovator, committed to leveraging advanced technologies to enhance customer experiences and operational efficiency. The team is dedicated to solving complex problems using cutting-edge machine learning and computer vision technologies.

Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Computer Vision Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying computer vision models and solutions that directly impact our business operations. You will work closely with a talented team of engineers and data scientists to build robust, scalable solutions using our tech stack.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deploy computer vision models for tasks such as object detection, recognition, action/event recognition, pose estimation, segmentation, multi-camera tracking, depth estimation, data synthesis, model optimization, and real-time processing.
  • Work with video processing and management technologies including Deepstream, GStreamer, and NVIDIA MMS.
  • Implement and manage REST APIs for model serving and integration.
  • Utilize Python and libraries such as PyTorch and TensorFlow for model development.
  • Leverage containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes to deploy and manage applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define best practices for computer vision solutions.
  • Maintain and optimize existing models and solutions to ensure high performance and reliability.
  • Monitor and visualize system performance using tools like Grafana and Prometheus.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, machine learning, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of developing and deploying computer vision models in production environments.
  • Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and experience with Python bindings for C/C++.
  • Strong understanding of video processing, including encoding, decoding, compression, streaming, camera synchronization, and calibration.
  • Experience with Triton Server for model serving.
  • Familiarity with message brokering systems (RabbitMQ, Kafka) and communication protocols (HTTP, GRPC) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of database systems like RabbitDB and VectorDB (Milvus) is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with WebRTC for real-time communication.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and visualization tools such as Grafana with Prometheus.
  • Understanding of agile development and test-driven development practices.
  • Experience in a retail or e-commerce environment is a plus.
