Full TimeJoin Eighty Days, a small, dynamic travel utility company based in Mumbai, as a Sr. Backend Engineer specializing in Node.js. This role is ideal for an individual contributor with aspirations to lead a team in the future, focusing on developing innovative backend solutions for our platform.
3-5 years of experience in backend development with Node.js.
Proven experience in building products from 0 to 1.
Experience working in a small team of 4-5 engineers.
Strong understanding of server-side languages and frameworks.
Experience integrating large language models and APIs.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to move quickly with requirements.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Develop and maintain server-side components using Node.js.
Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices.
Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Ensure robust and secure applications.
Integrate third-party APIs, including LLM APIs like OpenAI, LLaMA, and Gemini.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and apply them effectively.
