VF Corporation is looking for an exceptional Senior AI Scientist to join our Data & Analytics team based in Stabio, Switzerland.

The ideal candidate will have extensive years of experience in data science, with a strong focus on generative AI, and advanced forecasting. This role will involve developing and implementing advanced AI models to drive cutting edge innovation across the value chain, from Design to Planning. Working side-by-side with the business, the resource will drive AI transformation in the business and regional commercial community.

Job Details

• Develop and deploy generative AI models to support merchandising lifecycle
• Develop next gen forecasting models to fuel our regional trading activities
• Optimize and fine-tune AI models for performance, scalability, and accuracy.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior business stakeholders in the regions. Embed capability and create AI trust in the business community
• Play as a organizational change agents, to support AI and Gen.AI transformation in the organization.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning, and apply them to enhance our fashion products and services

Skills for Success

• Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or Engineering
• Extensive years of experience in data science, with a focus on newest generative AI technology
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java.
• Experience with AI frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
• Strong understanding of deep learning, neural networks and GAN (general adversarial network)
• Proven track record of developing and deploying AI models in a production environment.
• Digital native, with Passion for fashion and a keen eye for Gen.AI trends.
• Retail/Fashion background will be considered a plus
