Position Overview: SAS Consultant will assist in the design, development, and implementation of data solutions using SAS software. This role involves working closely with senior consultants and clients to analyze data, create reports, and provide actionable insights. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of SAS programming and a strong interest in data analysis and problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and execution of SAS programs for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
• Support the creation of data reports, visualizations, and dashboards to communicate findings effectively.
• Collaborate with senior consultants to understand client requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.
• Conduct data quality checks and validation to ensure accuracy and integrity of the analysis.
• Participate in project meetings and contribute to the development of project deliverables.
• Maintain documentation for SAS programs, data processes, and project workflows.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in SAS technology.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in SAS programming, SQL and data analysis techniques.
• Familiarity with data manipulation, statistical analysis, and report generation using SAS.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience with other programming languages or data analysis tools (e.g., R, Python) is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• Internship or academic project experience with SAS or other data analysis tools.
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and data modeling.
