Position Summary 

We are looking for a motivated and entrepreneurial Sales Leader to accelerate Scout’s market presence through new commercial partnerships and channel development. This individual will build strategic alliances across industries such as insurance, logistics, urban mobility, and infrastructure to drive recurring revenue and scalable deployment models.... Opportunity is to create, build, shape and deliver on our business strategy leveraging Rekor’s innovative technology portfolio with new partners and their clients.  Develop long term strategic partnerships, open new doors, go-to-market with partner's client base to identify where we can unlock significant joint business potential 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Identify and secure new commercial partners that can scale Scout’s reach through integration or resale.
  • Develop channel programs and strategic alliances to create recurring revenue streams.
  • Manage the entire sales lifecycle - from prospecting to closing - with strategic partners.
  • Collaborate with marketing to co-develop partner campaigns and joint value propositions.
  • Maintain a clear view of the partner landscape and competitive positioning.
  • Provide market feedback to guide product development and innovation.
  • Develop and execute the strategic business plan to achieve mutual targets across markets, sell, build, and run partnership motions.
  • Effectively engage with partners to develop, package, and position Rekor’s differentiated solutions and the partner’s unique IP to unlock new business and customer opportunities
  • Design, build and execute joint GTM strategies that align with the business plan and objectives
  • Evangelize the partnerships internally, including joint value proposition selling, with the business segments, portfolio development and global sales teams to ensure awareness and collaboration
  • Geo preferred: MD &  N. VA regional metro area  

Ideal Profile:

  • 7+ years of experience in B2B technology sales or partnership development.
  • Background in transportation tech, smart city solutions, or data platforms preferred.
  • Strong relationship builder with a track record of partner-led growth.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to operate with agility in a growing team.
  • Experience in selling to Enterprise and Commercial US accounts. 
  • Demonstrated experience in building strategic mutually beneficial business relationships
  • Resourceful, competitively natured, seasoned leader and knows how to work collaboratively to overcome obstacles and seize opportunities
  • Creative, imaginative individual who has the business acumen, curiosity and ability to work across organizations
  • Well-grounded individual who is able to manage and collaborate effectively.
  • Experience in a technical sales environment with a demonstrated partner approach to selling
  • Flexibility to travel , estimate about 50% national travel required
