Globally, our team consists of over 60 highly motivated employees from various nations and cultures. Our Zurich office has a familial, collegial atmosphere in a small team of about 10 people.

Tasks

As a Solution-Oriented Sales Engineer, your main objective is to drive the sales process by swiftly comprehending and delivering captivating demos and solutions that directly address the specific requirements of potential customers. Your primary responsibility is to deeply understand customer needs and rapidly translate them into customized, actionable solutions. Through hands-on demonstrations of our products or services, you will effectively showcase their ability to meet and surpass these needs. Your emphasis on solution-based selling will play a crucial role in closing deals and driving revenue growth, as you effectively communicate the unique value proposition our offerings bring to the forefront.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage in active discussions with potential customers to understand their technical requirements, challenges, and objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to develop tailored presentations, proposals, and demonstrations that showcase our products or services as the ideal solution for customer needs.
  • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations, both remotely and on-site, to highlight the features, capabilities, and benefits of our offerings.
  • Craft and present technical proposals, including architecture diagrams and responses to customers' requests for proposals (RFPs).
  • Perform in-depth technical evaluations and proof-of-concepts to validate the feasibility and suitability of our solutions in customer environments.
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of technical documentation, such as solution architectures, integration guides, and FAQs, to support the sales process.
  • Stay current with industry advancements, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to effectively position our products or services against competitors.
  • Participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to showcase our solutions and build relationships with potential customers.
  • Collaborate with post-sales teams to ensure a smooth transition from presales to implementation, providing any necessary handover and support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering) or equivalent practical experience.
  • Native or high-level proficiency in Swiss-German/German and English is a must
  • Strong technical background and interest in conversational AI, natural language processing (NLP), and machine learning (ML).
  • Strong technical background and understanding of software products, solutions, and architectures.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively to address customer challenges.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently, as well as collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for customer meetings and industry events.
