Position Overview:
Credo AI is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Director in the EU to drive growth and build a strong regional presence. This is a hybrid player/coach role that combines managing your own accounts with leading, mentoring, and building a high-performing sales team. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in enterprise sales, a strong understanding of GRC frameworks, and the ability to articulate Credo AI’s value in enabling responsible AI practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Leadership: Drive enterprise sales efforts in the EU, managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals.

  • Team Building: Recruit, coach, and mentor a high-performing sales team to achieve regional and company-wide objectives.

  • Market Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to grow Credo AI’s presence and market share in the EU.

  • Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, serving as a trusted advisor on AI governance and compliance.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to ensure alignment and deliver exceptional customer outcomes.

  • Thought Leadership: Represent Credo AI at industry events, conferences, and webinars, championing the importance of responsible AI practices.

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record in SaaS platform sales as well as services, ideally within AI, SaaS, GRC, or a related technology field.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage and grow strategic accounts while leading and mentoring a sales team.

  • Strong knowledge of AI technologies, governance frameworks, and regulatory landscapes in the EU.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced startup environment.

  • Experience in building and scaling sales teams, with a focus on coaching and professional development.

  • Proficiency in English; additional European languages are a plus.

  • Enterprise sales experience is a must.

  • Familiarity with EU-specific AI regulations and compliance requirements (e.g., AI Act, GDPR).

  • Startup experience is a plus.

Location & Remote Culture

While this is a remote role and we're a fully distributed team, we routinely meet up in-person. We support individual members to coordinate in-person coworking whenever possible, and organize company-wide offsites multiple times a year.
