CPG Sales Coordinator

Key Responsibilities / Education / Qualification:

Sales Operations & Strategy:

  • Oversee and coordinate day-to-day sales operations to ensure smooth, efficient execution across multiple projects.

  • Assist the sales leadership in developing sales strategies, identifying opportunities for growth, and optimizing the sales process.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage product launches, promotional campaigns, and market development activities.

Account Management Support:

  • Manage relationships with key accounts, distributors, and retailers, ensuring customer satisfaction and timely order fulfillment.

  • Support the sales team in negotiations, maintaining consistent communication with clients, and managing expectations regarding pricing, product availability, and deliveries.

  • Address and resolve complex client queries and issues, demonstrating strong problem-solving and customer service skills.

Order & Inventory Management:

  • Oversee the order-to-delivery process, ensuring accurate order processing, inventory management, and shipping coordination.

  • Work closely with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure that client orders are delivered on time, managing any order discrepancies or delays.

  • Monitor stock levels, proactively identify potential supply chain disruptions, and communicate solutions to the sales team.

Reporting & Analysis:

  • Analyze sales performance data, identifying trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Prepare detailed sales reports for management, highlighting key performance metrics, client feedback, and progress toward sales targets.

  • Track and report on market trends, competitive activities, and customer insights, helping to inform business strategies.

Team Collaboration & Mentoring:

  • Provide guidance and support to junior sales coordinators and assistants, helping them to develop skills and grow within the company.

  • Lead internal meetings and provide status updates on sales projects and activities.

  • Act as a liaison between the sales team, marketing, and product teams to ensure alignment on objectives and deliverables.

Sales Meeting & Event Coordination:

  • Organize and coordinate sales meetings, training sessions, industry events, and trade shows.

  • Prepare materials for sales meetings, client presentations, and product demonstrations.

Process Improvement & Efficiency:

  • Identify and implement process improvements to streamline sales workflows, enhance productivity, and improve customer satisfaction.

  • Drive the adoption of sales tools and technologies that increase operational efficiency.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or related field.

Experience:

  • 7-10 years of experience in sales coordination, sales operations, or account management within the CPG industry.

  • Proven success in managing complex sales processes, large accounts, and cross-functional projects.

  • Strong understanding of CPG industry dynamics, retail distribution, and supply chain management.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to handle multiple priorities.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), and order management systems.

  • Ability to analyze data, create actionable insights, and drive sales strategy.

  • High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and problem-solving.

Pay:

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.  The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.  At Fractal, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.  A reasonable estimate of the current range is: $93,000 - $150,000. In addition, for the current performance period, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus.

Benefits:

As a full-time employee of the company or as an hourly employee working more than 30 hours per week, you will be eligible to participate in the health, dental, vision, life insurance, and disability plans in accordance with the plan documents, which may be amended from time to time.  You will be eligible for benefits on the first day of employment with the Company.  In addition, you are eligible to participate in the Company 401(k) Plan after 30 days of employment, in accordance with the applicable plan terms.   The Company provides for 11 paid holidays and 12 weeks of Parental Leave. We also follow a “free time” PTO policy, allowing you the flexibility to take time needed for either sick time or vacation.
