The Role: Sales and Operations Manager
The Sales and Operations Manager is a hands-on role that drives sales operations, manages key partnerships, and ensures compliance across the organization. This role involves collaborating with key business partners to secure funding for pilots or proof of concepts (POCs), overseeing sales opportunity management, and generating essential reports for management. The Sales and Operations Manager will lead the Statement of Work (SOW) creation process, ensuring effective collaboration between sales and delivery teams to finalize contracts efficiently. Additionally, this role will handle administrative functions related to establishing operations in ASEAN countries as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Opportunity Management:
Establish and oversee sales operations processes and CRM systems.
Track sales development activities across the region using CRM system; ensure timely follow-ups on deals; maintain accurate records in the AWS partner portal.
Support proposal development by providing standard inputs for proposals and reviewing for overall RFP compliance.
Collaborate with AWS to secure funding for pilots or POCs through SOW drafting, architecture coordination, and cost calculator creation.
Facilitate communication between sales and delivery teams during SOW creation for efficient contract finalization.
Create and maintain a library of reusable proposal materials.
Compliance Management:
Ensure adherence to key partner agreements; obtain SOC 2 and ISO certifications and monitor ongoing compliance.
Sales and Operational Reporting:
Define, develop, and create management reports tracking business metrics across departments.
Entity Setup:
Manage establishment of entity/shareholder agreements, office locations, and work permits in ASEAN countries.
Extensive experience (7+ years) in sales operations, project management, or a related field within a technology consulting environment.
Experience in drafting formal documents such as SOWs and manage complex project requirements.
Knowledge of compliance standards (e.g., SOC 2, ISO) is highly desirable.
Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to create reports that inform strategic decisions.
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build relationships across teams and with external partners.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., technology, business administration, project management); advanced degree preferred.
