Role Overview:
As a Sales & Account Hunter in HLS at Fractal Analytics, you will play a pivotal role in mining new relationships in existing accounts to drive growth for Healthcare and Life Sciences (HLS) practice. Your primary responsibility will be to drive significant growth in existing client accounts by driving ideas, opportunities, strategic account planning, relationship management and executing on account plans for the year.
Responsibilities
Develop and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships based on a deep understanding of client needs and objectives.
Strategically manage client expectations, deliverables, and escalations to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
Lead end-to-end management of a portion of a key account, including hunting, mining, account management, consulting, and delivery to achieve individual annual revenue targets of $3M+ while maintaining high client satisfaction (NPS > 70), collaborating with solution teams to manage revenue and margin targets.
Contribute to the development and sales of pharmaceutical capabilities with a focus on Agentic AI/GenAI/AI.
Manage account utilization and margins, handle client escalations, and represent the full Fractal portfolio, demonstrating expertise in AI, Engineering & Design, Behavioral sciences, and pharmaceutical analytics solutions.
Drive revenue growth through upselling, cross-selling, and contract renewals.
Actively pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts and new prospects.
Stay abreast of healthcare industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape, adjust account strategies accordingly basis recommendations to senior management.
Build in-depth knowledge of client business priorities, challenges, and initiatives, translating these into actionable opportunities and develop comprehensive account plans aligned with organizational goals and client strategies to drive QBRs, MBRs, JBPs
Utilize CRM systems and other tools to maintain accurate account records and document client interactions, monitor key account metrics, revenue forecasts, and present regular reports to management
Success Profile
10+ years of experience in Sales/Account Management in Analytics/Consulting firms, particularly in the Healthcare industry, managing 5-10MN or driving $4MN/year individually
Strong commercial acumen, excellent storytelling abilities, map client challenges to Fractal's capabilities and link them to business outcomes, engage with VPs, Senior Directors
Ability to think on your feet, comfortable with ambiguity, and effective in a cross-functional environment.
Travel to client locations (40-60%)
Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field
Pay:
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Fractal, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current starting base of $180,000.

As a full-time employee of the company or as an hourly employee working more than 30 hours per week, you will be eligible to participate in the health, dental, vision, life insurance, and disability plans in accordance with the plan documents, which may be amended from time to time. You will be eligible for benefits on the first day of employment with the Company. In addition, you are eligible to participate in the Company 401(k) Plan after 30 days of employment, in accordance with the applicable plan terms. The Company provides for 11 paid holidays and 12 weeks of Parental Leave. We also follow a “free time” PTO policy, allowing you the flexibility to take time needed for either sick time or vacation.
