Join our team as a Retool AI Agent Developer and help redefine how we automate and accelerate core business workflows. In this role, you’ll utilize Retool’s new AI Agent interface, integrating cutting-edge APIs and intelligent automation tools to create dynamic, self-driving solutions. Key Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and deploy intelligent agents using Retool’s AI Agent platform for workflow automation.- Integrate third-party services, such as Browser-Use.com’s Cloud API, along with custom scripts and low-code tools to enhance agent capabilities.- Collaborate with operators and product managers to translate business challenges into actionable agent playbooks.- Build robust, maintainable agents that handle tasks like data extraction, API orchestration, decision-making, and user notifications.- Rapidly prototype new agent features and iterate based on feedback and evolving team needs.- Document agent flows, technical decisions, and maintain clear written communication in our async, remote-first culture.- Troubleshoot and optimize agent performance to ensure reliability and scalability.
Qualifications:- Proven experience with Retool and low-code/no-code automation tools.- Hands-on expertise in developing and integrating AI agents for workflow automation.- Strong proficiency in API integrations and custom scripting (e.g., using Puppeteer).- Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to clearly document agent logic and collaborate asynchronously.- Demonstrated ability to rapidly prototype, test, and iterate on solutions.- Deep curiosity about AI, automation, and emerging technologies.- Self-motivated and highly collaborative, able to work effectively in a remote, cross-functional team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience working with Browser. Use.com’s Cloud API or similar browser automation tools.- Background in designing intelligent workflows or process automation for dynamic teams.- Familiarity with agile development practices and rapid deployment cycles.
