We’re looking for someone to take over hiring the best researchers on earth. This role will work with our Chief Scientist and Head of Applied AI on all research hiring. This candidate should be hyper excited about AI and exceptionally curious; be a 1% able people-person and able to own a mission-critical workstream for Luma as a company.
Role & Responsibilities
Creative sourcing of the top research talent from other top labs and universities
Own relationship with the candidate up to closing, ensuring they are engaged and sold on Luma’s mission from the first interaction
Project manage recruitment process, ensuring good candidate experience and well-managed internal resources
Participate in recruiting huddles, serving to advise the team and protect Luma’s quality bar
Background
5+ years of recruiting experience, with significant experience in research / machine learning
3+ year full cycle recruiter experience
Evidence of technical background, ability or interest extremely valuable
Experience in fast-moving environment, including fast-growth startups or specific exceptionally high-growth teams in big-tech
Experience hiring at an extremely high quality bar
Experience getting creative - coming up with new ideas to make recruiting better 🙂
