The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated product security architect to join the Cerebras team. 

The Product Security Architect is responsible for driving cybersecurity requirements and architectural concepts across our end-to-end platform from physical infrastructures to cloud-native, multi-tenant environments. The right candidate would be instrumental to the way Cerebras designs, builds, deploys and delivers its core systems and services to some of the world’s largest organizations. 

Responsibilities 

  • Collaborate with engineering, product management, and operations teams to align security strategies with technical and business objectives. 
  • Design and architect capabilities that enforce trusted computing boundaries across hardware clusters through to cloud environments. 
  • Design and architect security components that will serve Cerebras customers (e.g. Identity and access)  
  • Integrate industry-standard security frameworks & requirements (e.g., NIST 800-53, CIS, OWASP) into the architectural design and product management processes. 
  • Develop and deploy robust security measures for cloud security, including container security and infrastructure-as-code practices. 

Skills & qualifications   

  • Extensive experience (10+ years) in cybersecurity, and specifically software design, security architecture and cloud security. 
  • Extensive software architecture and engineering background. 
  • Hands-on experience building, securing and operating highly dynamic cloud environments 
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.  
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to anticipate the needs of customers and internal stakeholders.  
  • Proactive, adaptable, and able to thrive in a rapidly changing environment. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
