Key Responsibilities

  • Product Vision Strategy: Define a product vision that support the company mission and aligns with the product scope. Develop and execute product strategies to deliver the product vision and create value for the company.
  • Market Research: Conduct thorough company, market & user research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape and use these to inform vision, strategy.
  • Product Roadmap: Define and communicate a clear product roadmap, outlining key objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
  • User Experience: Prioritize exceptional user experiences by elevating UX/UI design to create intuitive product interfaces and workflows.
  • Product Development: Prioritize development demand for engineering teams to ensure the timely and successful development and release of high-quality features.
  • Metrics and Analysis: Define product success metrics, monitor product performance, and conduct data analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
  • Release Strategy: Collaborate with engagement leads, business partners, and engineering leadership to develop effective deployment and change management strategies.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster strong relationships and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment and clear communication throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Stakeholder Management: Engage and manage stakeholders, providing timely updates, gathering feedback, and ensuring their requirements and expectations are met.
  • Head the product Board: Provide leadership of the Product Board and ensure all facets (business, users, technology) are well advocated for and adequately addressed. 


Skills

  • Strong understanding of product management methodologies, processes, and best practices.
  • Ability to gather and translate business, customer, competitor and market insights into actionable plans, feature roadmaps and product strategies.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in using product management and collaboration tools (JIRA, Confluence, Mural, etc).
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to drive consensus across diverse stakeholders.
  • Passion for technology and innovation, with a keen interest in staying up-to-date with industry trends and advancements.


Experience

The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in roles of increasing responsibility beginning with junior engineering or administrative roles and culminating in a supervisor position.

  • 3+ years of track record as a Product Manager (or similar role), with a strong track record of successfully launching and managing products.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Certifications in IT fields are a plus.
