This is a remote position.


As a Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the vision, strategy and execution of OpenObserve’s product offerings. Collaborating closely with engineering, design, marketing and customer success teams, you will ensure seamless delivery of features that empower users to monitor and optimize their systems effectively.

Key Responsibilities

         Product Strategy & Vision
    • Develop and articulate a clear product roadmap aligned with company goals and customer needs.
    • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and gaps
         Stakeholder Collaboration
    • Work closely with engineering teams to define product requirements and ensure timely delivery.
    • Collaborate with marketing to craft messaging and go-to-market strategies for product launches.
    • Partner with customer success to gather feedback and prioritize feature enhancements.
         Customer Advocacy
    • Engage with customers to understand their needs, challenges and desired outcomes.
    • Act as the voice of the customer within the company to drive user-centric product development.
          Project Management
    • Oversee the product lifecycle from ideation to launch, ensuring alignment across teams.
    • Track and measure product performance to inform future iterations.


Requirements

    • Proven experience as a Product Manager, preferably in observability, monitoring or SaaS products.
    • Strong technical acumen with an understanding of software development and system monitoring tools.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    • Experience with Agile methodologies and product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to make data-driven decisions.

          Preferred Qualifications

    • Familiarity with OpenTelemetry, Grafana or other observability tools.
    • Background in software engineering or technical fields.
    • Experience working with open-source projects.
