Opportunity: Oracle Customer Success Services (CSS) is dedicated to ensuring customer success by providing a wide range of services and solutions to accelerate the customer journey. We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join our SaaS & Apps delivery team as a SaaS & Apps AI Enablement data scientist. The data scientist will use data-driven insights to enhance our products and services to enable our clients to achieve their goals. This scientist will define and operationalize AI quality and measure and monitor the business value that AI delivers to our customers. This is a highly collaborative roll that requires working with Customer Success Managers (CSMs), Technical Account Managers (TAMs), and other stakeholders to enhance our cloud solutions and drive value for customers. 

Key Responsibilities: As the SaaS & Apps AI Enablement Data Scientist, you will be responsible for:

  • Develop and deploy AI solutions, including data collection, preprocessing, model training, and evaluation. 
  • Analyze large volumes of structured and unstructured data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Develop and implement statistical models and machine learning algorithms to solve business problems.
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define data-driven product strategies and identify opportunities for AI integration. 
  • Create data visualizations and dashboards to communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Conduct experiments and A/B testing to validate hypotheses and improve product performance.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in data science and machine learning.
  • Communicate with stakeholders to share progress, results, and recommendations related to AI initiatives. 
  • Translate business questions into actionable research.
  • Develop software using Agile methodologies and participate as a member of scrum development teams

The successful candidate will have a strong background in AI, machine learning, and software development, along with a love for using data to solve real-world problems.

Qualifications                                                           

  • Advanced degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or other quantitative fields.
  • 5+ years of hands-on technical experience in a data science role.
  • Working knowledge of NLP such as entity recognition, embedding models, semantic models, etc.
  • Extensive experience coding and building solutions using Python.
  • Extensive experience with statistical packages such as scikit-learn, spaCy, NumPy, etc.
  • Experience exploring large amounts of information, extracting insights, and achieving real-world results.
  • Demonstrated track record of starting and leading interdisciplinary research and engineering projects.
  • Strong communication skills and value building strong relationships with colleagues and partners as well as the ability to explain sophisticated topics in straightforward terms.
