The Technical Specialist in Data and AI (Presales) plays a crucial role in the sales process by providing technical expertise and support to the sales team. This role involves understanding customer needs, identifying technical solutions, and effectively communicating the value proposition of the company’s products and services.
Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement: Engage with potential clients to understand their business needs and technical requirements.
- Solution Design: Develop and present tailored technical solutions that address customer challenges and demonstrate the value of the company’s offerings.
- Technical Demonstrations: Conduct product demonstrations and proof-of-concept sessions to showcase the capabilities and benefits of the solutions.
- Proposal Development: Collaborate with the sales team to create detailed proposals, including technical specifications, project plans, and cost estimates.
- Technical Advisory: Provide technical guidance and advisory services throughout the sales cycle, ensuring customer satisfaction and addressing any technical concerns.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including product development, engineering, and marketing, to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
- Market Insights: Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in the Data and AI domain to provide informed recommendations to clients.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in Data and AI technologies are a plus.
- Experience: 3 years of technical experience in the Data and AI sector, with at least 3 years in a presales or technical sales role.
- Skills: Strong technical acumen, excellent communication and presentation skills, ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value, and proficiency in Data and AI technologies.
- Soft Skills: Empathy, problem-solving, and the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal teams.
