Researcher to carry out scientific and technical activities into new AI methodologies of interest for music composition, production and performance, in the frame of the Chair AI and Music (Cátedra IA y Música)
Train and support doctoral students who develop their doctoral thesis in Music and AI within the framework of the Chair (PT1-A1)
Carry out research that allows the development of new AI methodologies based on deep learning that allow assistance in the different processes involved in music composition, production and performance. (1) methodologies based on deep learning to generate music, (2) source separation, analysis of musical patterns, and improvement of sound quality, (3) methodologies to assist the performer. (PT2-A4)
Improving existing datasets and creating new ones useful for deep learning models (PT3-A8)
Participate in the development of prototypes for specific applications of the technologies developed (PT3-A9)
Requirements that candidates must meet
GENERAL
a) Be in possession of the Doctor's degree (PhD)
b) Not having been separated by means of a disciplinary file from the service of any of the public administrations, nor having been disqualified by a final judgment for the performance of public functions. In the case of being a national of another State, not being disqualified or in an equivalent situation or having been subjected to a disciplinary or equivalent sanction that prevents, in their State, access to public jobs in the same terms .
SPECIFIC
Doctorate in engineering, computer science or related fields
Research experience in music technology, especially related to creation, synthesis and interaction
Experience in software design, development and testing
Experience in managing large data collections
Experience in supervising doctoral students
Experience in technology transfer activities
Fluent English and Spanish
These participation requirements must be fulfilled on the last day of the deadline for submitting applications, they must be able to be reliably proven at any time during the selection process and they must continue to be fulfilled on the date of signing the contract.
