As a Perception Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing cutting-edge algorithms and systems for Computer Vision, 3D reconstruction, SLAM and Machine Learning. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer programming, possess expertise in 3D computer vision, and demonstrate proficiency in advanced machine learning techniques.Responsibilities:Develop and implement advanced 3D reconstruction algorithms i.e SLAM or Structure From Motion.Applying machine learning techniques to improve perception systems.Perform various multi-modal sensor calibration processesCollaborate with various engineering teams to integrate perception algorithms into our products.Conduct testing and validation of perception systems to ensure accuracy and reliability.Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Computer Vision.Handle high-speed visual control and estimation of aerial/ground vehicles.Write algorithms for obstacle avoidance and trajectory generation.Develop and implement image/cloud processing techniques for enhanced visual perception.Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Proven experience with visual SLAM, multiple view geometry, and 3D reconstruction.Hands on experience with pose estimation, Bayesian filters, and sensor fusion.Good working knowledge of traditional deep learning techniques and frameworks, including CNNs, RNNS, Autoencoders etc.Excellent in linear algebra and nonlinear optimizationExperience with multi modal sensor calibrationExperience with path planning and trajectory generationExcellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Solid scientific training and analytical skills.Experience with image / point cloud processing.Continuous learning mindset and a desire to write technical documents, including publishing research papers.Preferred Qualifications:Masters/PhD degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Proven experience in various SLAM techniques, including Visual SLAM, LiDAR SLAM, Neural SLAM and Visual-Inertial SLAM etc.Working knowledge of advanced machine learning techniques and frameworks such as vision transformers, diffusion models and their applications.Experience with Mesh processing and computer graphicsExperience with advanced 3D representation techniques such as Neural Radiance Fields (NeRF) and Gaussian Splatting.Benefits:Work with the leading intelligent aerial imaging company with established, successful relationships across myriad industriesMedical insurance covered up to 100% depending the plan chosenDental & vision insuranceFlexible time offStock incentive programWork from home environmentAutonomy and upward mobilityDiverse, equitable, and inclusive culture, where your voice matters
