A Master’s degree is strongly preferred.At least 7 years of experience in data engineering, with demonstrated leadership in complex projects.Advanced proficiency in Python and/or Java programming languages.Extensive hands-on experience with SQL database design, optimization, and management.Proven experience with AWS, Snowflake, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB in large-scale environments.Deep understanding of data warehousing concepts, architecture, and industry best practices.Experience leading teams or contributing to Agile/Scrum environments in a senior capacity.Preferred Qualifications:Relevant data engineering certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Data Analytics, Google Cloud Data Engineer).Extensive experience in the health-tech industry, particularly in managing and analyzing healthcare data.In-depth knowledge of data privacy and security regulations, with a focus on HIPAA compliance.Skills:Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholdersAdvanced problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities, with a track record of driving innovative solutionDetail-oriented with a strong commitment to data quality, accuracy, and industry best practicesDemonstrated ability to work independently and lead teams in a fast-paced environmentThis role can be located in Seattle, WA or Guadalajara, Mexico.
