Pronto is seeking an additional computer vision engineer to join our team. Pronto’s autonomous trucks run on an advanced perception stack that uses cameras to choose drivable paths, avoid obstacles, and maintain safety at all times. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working with state-of-the-art techniques as well as implementing and maintaining production-stable applications of new features.
What You'll Be Doing
Implementing applications for neural nets on autonomous vehicles
Improving camera calibration techniques
Expanding existing perception pipelines to accept additional camera views / inputs
Stress testing perception system to find operating limits
Data pipeline tooling
Log scraping tooling for specific features
Image space to world space conversions
Requirements
2+ years professional experience writing software relevant to perception
Experience with python
Familiarity with common computer vision libraries and techniques: camera calibration, projection between image and world space
Proven experience in perception, with a strong portfolio of projects
Able to create and debug software systems: building maintainable code with good diagnostics that scales
Excellent at handling ambiguous or undefined problems
Strong communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively in a multidisciplinary team and communicating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
