JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

We are seeking a motivated Research Associate to contribute to an exciting research project in Machine Learning and Data Science, with a specific focus on multilingual text detoxification.

Job Duties

  • Participate in data collection and annotation processes, including data compilation and organization.
  • Implement machine learning methods and techniques for text detoxification and analysis.
  • Collaborate with the research team to refine models and methodologies.
  • Document processes and outcomes for reporting and publication purposes.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Master’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of machine learning and natural language processing (NLP).
  • Familiarity with multilingual text processing and annotation tools is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Python or similar programming languages.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Duration and Compensation

  • The opening is initially for 6 months, with the possibility of extension or conclusion based on budget, performance, and project needs.
  • Competitive stipend or salary commensurate with experience.
