 What you will be doing:  

  • Implement deep learning approaches for clinical text mining: training & evaluation.
  • Develop algorithms and models for text processing, sentiment analysis, entity recognition, and topic modeling.
  • Develop data preprocessing pipelines to clean, and normalize text data.
  • Researching NLP methodologies (neural models etc), evaluating them, and applying them for clinical text mining.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including architecture, data engineering, data science, product, and software engineering teams. 

Requirements 

  • Bachelors or Master’s degree in Machine Learning or Computer Science (related field/experience considered)
  • Hands-on experience with implementing NLP, AI, ML, and NLU applications using open-source frameworks.
  • Strong knowledge of statistics, probabilities, and proficiency in Python along with key ML/NLP libraries like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
  • Familiarity with distributed data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark and exposure to MLOps or the full software development lifecycle.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and knowledge of running models in production environments.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively in a team setting.
